And yes, I really did hang them! They came to us from my earlier series They From the Inner Part, which also used nonstandard canvas shapes. I brought them here from their own universes, into the Room — to bring us luck.

They’re not about correctness of form. They’re about the ability to fill the space you've been given. By bending, they’ve used every possibility available to them — and now those possibilities have become their cage. Do you think they know they have a second side?
